Me, at home, and done with lotsa stuffs related to raya (hihi) thanx husband for the streamix @ home (yay!!) so that I could update the blog and chat at the same time.
It has been a rows of busy days @ home for me coz I had to do the curtain and many other thgs. Now, the curtain is ready (yay!) and alhamdulillah, even tho it was a first time, the sewing machine was okay and the fabric was not that bad considering the cheap price (nama pun nak buat langsir bodo2 je kan) When the curtain match all other stuffs, the hse looks really inspired :-) and I m so relieved...
This morning right until 11 pm, I managed to clean the kitchen and line up the glasses, canisters, what not at the right place where they should belong to, at the cabinet. The kitchen is basically ready for raya. yay!
What left is the clothes. I have'nt found the correct dress for arissa. Correct, as in the colour-match with our baju melayu. Hmmm... not that I could'nt try my best to do her baju kurung, but the sewing machine has been returned to its owner, my sister who has couple of sewings to settle before off to balik kampung. I thk me and husband will look around at Jln Tar and give another try to swim through the human ocean surrounding the stalls just to get 1 baju kurung for arissa.
Tomorrow husband will buy some groceries for raya dish. I would be cooking the 'annual' rendang daging (as always), and pulut kunyit. Since the 1st raya will be celebrated at sis in law's place (where mom in law chooses to stay with the whole raya) I supposed pulut kunyit and rendang daging would be sufficient. I remember when I was single and had to prepare foods for raya, I'd cook many dishes from chicken curry to kicap daging, sambal tumis tempe, kuah kacang, pulut kunyit, nasi himpit etc etc - because they were meant for the 1st raya, for the whole family members, relatives, neigbours and friends. ThankGod, now I just have to cook for my mini family :-)
